Project Briefs!
Wed Sep 03, 2008 12:42 am by Keii
As mentioned before. Many times, every day, every week. Everyone needs to adopt the habit of getting briefs beforehand. It is a very important aspect as an art student, and a designer, in school and at work. The brief is a very effective starter's tool to any and every project.

It contains what you need to do, what to expect and also what to bring for the next class. Everything you need to know, summarized.

Take a look every once in awhile, make sure you have them printed out for reference!

Lecturers pave the way and lay the foundations. I've planned out and build the ground floor, will you join me in building the next floor and floors thereafter? Your choice.

PS: You guys do know you can reply in announcement threads right? Razz

Healthcare and Learning Portal
Tue Aug 19, 2008 12:51 am by Keii
This sticky is in regards to your Learning Portal usage and your health.

Everyone should cultivate the habit to visit the Learning Portal at least once every day, as it is consistently updated. Also, it contains weekly briefs to your modules, which are important. What is recommended and strongly encouraged is, that you print out the brief, and refer to it, not only to know what to expect, but to know what materials you need for that lesson as well.

Another thing would be your personal health. With Singapore's humidity, heat, and unpredictable weather, everyone should be extra careful, because missing out on a class due to illnesses is a liability. Take care of your health and drink loads of fluids. In any event that you are really to ill to attend a class or two, inform me, so I can inform the lecturer and Rashid as well. And on your part, you should do your best to obtain an MC to justify your little holiday to save your attendance record.

With that said, don't stress out too much. Work hard, work smart. Have sufficient rest, and I'll see you guys in school tomorrow! Very Happy
